心が購入方向で傾いている貴兄にとっては、もう答えが出ていると察します。
当方は、tenchoと同意見の不要派です。
理由は色々ありますが、一番は本来、機械式（手巻きも含め）は、アナログ的な人の活動（手巻きは・・・自転車のペダル回しみたいなもんですが）によってチクタクと動く、健気でいて愛おしくもある存在であり、究極のエコロジーと思うからです。 まぁ使い手の意思を反映して会話できているような気がしてなりません。
ワイディングマシーンに委ねるという事は、その人の動作を別の何かに頼って動かしめていると言うことになり、本質的な道具としての存在感が希薄になるような感じで・・・
ワイディンｸﾞ・・・自体、それが電動ですから、そのバッテリーでクォーツ時計も動かしてしまえる訳で本末転倒というか、何というか無駄ですよね？
For comparison、seiko5.clubに関わってからというもの自動巻きが23本位になってしまい、仕事柄それらを着けれない（着けたくない）環境である為、時計に対して申し訳けない気持ちで一杯な日々を過ごしています。（off-dayでの使用だけで、どうローテション回すか苦慮しています・・・）
電動・動力源で回すより人の（人肌を介して）腕に実際身につけた方が、精度や長持ち具合いとしては、良いというような事を何かで聞いたことがあります。人肌（体温）が時計にもよいのでしょう（機械油的に）！！
I、１ヶ月サイクルで最低でもひとつ一つについて、何度か軽く振って回して油を馴染ませています・・・そして愉悦の時を、まさしく眺めて楽しんでいます。
それまでローテで漏れた（出番の少ない）時計達との会話をして、普段は鑑賞棚に収まっているそれらと出勤前・就寝前と対面している日常です。
